PlayCafe is a thoughtfully designed, family‑friendly space in Bury St Edmunds town centre. We offer a calm, clean and welcoming environment for parents, babies and young children inspired by Montessori principles and centred around community.

Alongside our café and play offering, we love working with local practitioners, educators and organisations to host classes, courses and workshops that support families at every stage.

The Space
Our town‑centre venue offers:

Space suitable for small to medium group sessions (open plan)

Parents are welcome to bring babies or young children to sessions where appropriate, making PlayCafe an ideal venue for inclusive, real‑life parenting support.

Standard venue hire includes:

Access to our café during and after sessions

We also offer hot and cold drinks, snacks, cakes and light lunch options for attendees to purchase during or after sessions.
Pricing
Our standard hire rate is based on a 90 minute session and discounted rates are available for block bookings (e.g. 4–6 week courses).

If you’re planning a series of sessions, we’re very happy to discuss a package that works well for both parties.

Depending on the session, we may also be able to offer:

Discounted play sessions for attendees who wish to stay on

Promotion of your classes via our noticeboard or social media
