School Starter Socials at PlayCafe Starting school is a big milestone for little ones and parents. Our School Starter Socials are relaxed, friendly sessions designed to help children build confidence, recognise familiar faces and feel more settled ahead of their first day. At the same time, it gives parents the chance to meet others from the same school community and start building those all-important connections. What to expect: A calm, welcoming PlayCafe session where children can: play freely in a safe, open-plan environment begin to recognise children starting at the same school build confidence through gentle, social play For parents, it’s a chance to: meet other families from your child’s new school chat, connect and feel more prepared for September enjoy a moment to relax with a coffee
